Join ESPN’s own Gary Striewski as he breaks down Thursday's practice at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb leading up to race day on Sunday, June 27th.

David Donohue and the rest of the Time Attack 1 class took to the bottom section of the mountain today as they set their official qualifying times for race day. While not the most dangerous stretch, it's the longest section of the three. Conditions weren't as favorable as the previous day with rain causing an hour long delay to kick off the morning. Fog also rolled in creating a beautiful scene of the mountain, but less than ideal driving conditions. By the end of the practice session the roads were dried up allowing qualifying to continue. Despite being unable to drive on the mountain for for the first days of practice, David was still able to set a competitive time good enough for a top 5 class qualifying time clocking in at 4:42.816. Time is running out for the teams with only one more practice day left on the mountain and just three days until race day on Sunday.
