ESPN’s Gary Striewski returns for the final recap of Race Week practice sessions before the big day on Sunday the 27th. David Donohue was looking competitive after getting his first full day of practice in this week. Along with the rest of his Time Attack 1 Class, David found himself navigating the middle section of the mountain starting at Glen Cover before making his way up to Devils Playground. This section includes one of the more sinister parts of the mountain as windy cliffside turns at Ragged Edge lead to four consecutive hairpin turns that wrap up the section. Through it all it was a successful day of practice for the team that saw them finish just 3 seconds behind the class leader, Romain Dumas who is driving Champion Porsche’s GT2RS Clubsport. Today's results reassured David as he was glad to see himself and the team in contention for a top 3 finish. With practice sessions concluded, Dave’s team will have all day Saturday to make final adjustments to the car before they tackle the mountain on Sunday. Check back on race day to keep up to date with the team!
